New Site
Hmmm. New server, new blogging software. Actually, new house too, since the last time I maintained this domain.

Awesome VPS. Wish I’d found them years ago when I first started running a VPS for myself and my gaming clan. Fast, affordable, awesome support and a cool community. Can’t recommend them enough. Unfortunately, none of my friends are into running a site, so .. eh. Suffice it to say, I’ve got the badass host now and everyone I know is sick of hearing about my cool new server.

Not sure yet. Looked awesome. Then I tried to get some plugins, and all the links were dead. Half the developers seemed to have swapped back to WP. Dunno. Hit Google and looked for another blog program awhile, but nothing caught my eye. Not doing WP right now, though. Going to keep this site a bit experimental.
Edit .. Found the plugins, with Google. Two different plugin directories on their site and neither was any good. Google found a third that I missed somehow. I’m happier now, Habari is good so far.

Interesting thing. Markdown is one of the plugins I was really looking forward too, and I’m glad I found it. It’s a neat little markup language to lets you format blog text using some simple inline markings. Pretty handy, more plain-English than > HTML markup. read more
